If you are looking to have an idea for the milestone birthday, holiday, reception or shower, or perhaps if you just sense that having some friends over, consider throwing a party as part of your yard or outside. Whether you're hosting a summer pool party, a football tailgater in the fall or a winter excursion and picnic on snowshoes, entertaining outside is fun, different and exciting. Outdoor parties cover numerous events from weddings and graduation parties to simple summer gatherings with friends. Decorating a great outdoor party is difficult and costly, while planning your next gathering, why not use items through your own garden.

Establish the tone whenever you set the table and set up decorations. Come up with a table runner using greenery. Create a sturdy table within a shaded section of the yard, preferably in shadows cast by buildings as an alternative to trees. Cover the outdoor table with a crisp cotton tablecloth to get a casual look. Set up folding tables to hold food and drinks. Choose foods that travel well if you're going farther compared to backyard. Invest alcoholic drinks and the necessary equipment on their behalf together with a small rolling cart. Set up the paper napkins, flatware, paper plates, paper straws and paper cups at one end of the table. Decorate with team colors, flags and pom-poms for the tailgate party, pails and shovels, umbrellas and beach balls for just a clambake. Fill vintage tea cups with tea lights and put one by each place setting to generate a romantic, tea party-inspired look. Complete the outdoor table setting with indoor items using pretty china, silverware, and silver candle holders. Light up the party if it goes into the evening.

Operate the sky, grass, the beach, a garden, flowers as well as other nature-inspired elements as inspiration when scouting for a color palette and decor theme. Serve a good amount of refreshments, bring all the necessary gear--also keep in mind the sunscreen! Combine elegant pieces, like vintage crystal vases, with cotton and other relaxed materials.
