I purchased these paper drinking straws because of the problems plastic straws are causing in our environment. I believe they are a good alternative to plastic. No they do not get all soft and mushy after being left in a drink for awhile. Straws are fun and colorful. so I will definitely buy them again. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars]

The cafe I work at recently went straw-less to decrease our plastic use. We found that there were some cases in which straws are necessary (like folks with tremors or the inability to lift things) so I broke down and bought these. We love them!
