We decided to purchase these straws as a way to cut down on plastic consumption and waste. I wanted to prevent possible damage to marine life. I'm very pleased with these straws and will purchase more when finished. These are completely plastic free and paper based. These straws are durable and still hold their shape even after being soaked for hours in the glass. These straws are not individually wrapped.
